Tom – President/CEO
Tom Ishak is the President of the Better Choice Lenders. Tom brings over 20 years of experience in Commercial and Small Business lending and Credit Markets. “Our mission as a company is to be trusted advisors, and guide Small Business’s in navigating the road to success in Small Business Financing”
Heather – Commercial Loan Officer
I am a self driven commercial loan officer for The Better Choice Lenders. I believe being a loan officer is more than just products and paperwork. I take pride in building new and long lasting relationships with my clients.
John – Commercial Loan Officer
I am currently a Loan Officer for The Better Choice Lenders. I am very much a people person. I started my career at Citicorp on Wall St working with American Depository Receipts and after three years and a couple of promotions, I left Citicorp and started working at the Post Office as a letter carrier. I then moved up the ladder of success quickly and eventually became a Postmaster for a few Post Offices (Fanwood and Shorthills). After 17 Years, I changed careers and went back into the corporate arena. I worked at Canon Business Processes for 12 years as an Area Manager and in 2015 I started working at The Millennium Group first as a National Account Manager and then as an Operations Manager for over 20 accounts. My wonderful family is my everything, and I spend any free time with my wife, two sons, and four beautiful grandchildren.
Mickey – Commercial Loan Officer
Experienced Sales Executive with a demonstrated history of working in the finance, wholesale/retail industry. Develops collaborative relationships to strengthen efficiencies and performance inside and outside organizations. Strong sales professional skilled in trend analysis, sales, retail, wholesale, and commercial financing. 2013 Account Executive of the year!

Breelyn – Commercial Loan Officer
Coming from small town America, I couldn’t have began to fathom how businesses truly operate and reach multiple 7 figure incomes. So as I moved to Scottsdale, Arizona; I took every opportunity I could find to figure out how to take small underserved businesses to excelling and serving corporations. In the process, I developed the skill of connecting and serving people from all walks of life, each with their own unique needs. Throughout the years these skills have been sharpened as an independent business owner, a customer experience expert and now a mother on a mission. My intention as a Loan Officer and Financial Planner is to provide exceptional growth and opportunities, through uncommonly ethical solutions, to the businesses big banks tend to overlook.
Justin – Commercial Loan Officer
I am a New Jersey native turned Arizona-based business development & success specialist. After turning down pre-med, I founded and operated a gym prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, where I gained invaluable insight and experience to the challenges of running an operation during high stress times. These days when I am not leading clients to success, I enjoy hiking with my dog, traveling, and helping others improve their physical and mental well-being.
Tiffany – ERC Funding Manager/Head of Accounts Receivable
My name is Tiffany and I am the head of the ERC Funding and Accounts Receivable division of The Better Choice Lenders. My job entails tracking communication with the IRS and select lending partners to ensure that our clients get funded as quickly as possible. I am the point of contact for all clients waiting on funding and oversee the billing/collections department.
Prior to joining The Better Choice Lenders, I worked in the mortgage field, as well as a nurse with a specialty in neurosurgery at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Brittany – ERC Processing Manager
With more than a decade of experience in the finance and retail industries, I’ve been fortunate enough to have gained a wealth of invaluable knowledge to share with my clients. Who my clients are as people, not numbers, are what matters most to me and my daily interactions with them are where I derive my passion for work. Being a mother of two and a thriving professional requires determination, perseverance, and a steady, smart head on my shoulders. Surpassing my goals both personally and professionally is a rewarding challenge I welcome each day.
Amber – Processing Manager
Texas native and mom of two. I began my career as a Mortgage Loan Processor at a young age and continued that path for a total of 7 years until transitioning to the opposite side of mortgage lending where I became a Design Consultant for a Custom Home Builder in the DFW area and earned my Interior Design Degree.
From there, I branched off and started my own Design company serving several home builders as a contractor and have had great success.
While I still dabble in Home Design on the side, I was given a phenomenal opportunity by The Better Choice Lenders in early of 2022 as a Loan Processor, and have since been blessed to have been allowed room for growth to move to the Processing Manager position.
My main goal in this position, is for the continued growth of Our Clients, Our Company, Our Team, and Myself.
Megan – Loan Processor
I’m a hard working mother of 3, born and raised in Texas. I am currently a processor for The Better Choice Lenders. I have been with the company for 2 years. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family.
Kate – Loan Processor
My name is Kate Rodal. I was born and raised in New York. In 2008 I graduated from Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. My professional experiences have molded me into a knowledgeable, detail-oriented team player. The first step towards customer satisfaction is effective communication skills with the unique ability to navigate the details, and that is what I consistently provide to my client base.
I’ve brought dedication and positive results to The Better Choice Lenders because I am passionate about client retention, positive results and efficient business strategies. What drives my clientele to success interests and inspires me. I specialize in long-term growth strategies and audience outreach.
In addition to almost two decades of experience in the fast paced industry, I am a mother to a beautiful baby boy. Being a mother has made my compassion and passion for life grow to an indescribable measure. The role in motherhood brought immense motivation into my career. My son is my “why.” Being a mother is my reason to never stop thriving, learning and growing. I want my son to grow up always seeing me becoming better than the person I was the day before. Modeling the best version of myself has made me grow in all aspects of my life. I am blessed to continue to evolve in the career aspect of my life as a processing manager here at The Better Choice Lenders.
